Built in 1961 by Camper and Nicholson, Gosport, England, this 44 ft Bermudan Yawl has real character. An ideal classic yacht charter in the Mediterranean. A true gentleman’s yacht, her lines were by Charles A. Nicholson who used his skill and offshore racing pedigree to design sailing yacht "Zillaine" with a high forward freeboard to give additional buoyancy in the bow - ideal to drive through the chop in The Channel whilst racing to France. "Charles A" as he was known used this to good effect on the ocean racers Yeoman, Taiseer and Fedalah.

A great yacht to charter in the Med with a skipper she is constructed of teak and mahogany on grown oak frames. Not only was she built by one of England's finest shipyards but she was built under the supervision of Lloyds to ensure she met Lloyds 100AI - the marine industry hallmark. Original design drawings are held in the Maritime Museum, Greenwich and copies can be seen and studied by those sailing on this true classic yacht for charter - avaliable for a long weekend, up to 2 weeks or more.
